IS THE LOOKOUT EXPRESS A REAL TRAIN?
The Lookout Express is a custom built – deluxe trackless train… made in the USA! The design of the Lookout Express pays homage to the Steam Train Locomotive era… and travels a paved road through our holiday light event pulling six cars and a caboose. Each car has comfortable upholstered seats.. a roof and open air windows.. so dress according to the weather.
HOW LONG IS THE TRAIN RIDE?
The train ride through the lights event is just under 15 minutes… and departs from the train station roughly every 20 minutes.
WHAT IF I MISS MY SCHEDULED TRAIN RIDE?
If you arrive late due to unforeseen circumstances… we can add your party to a wait list or try to add you onto another train departure that evening. If we are booked solid we can add another ride at the end of the night after all other departures.
WHAT IS THE TICKET POLICY?
ALL TICKETS ARE NONREFUNDABLE! Tickets may be transferred to another night. Your ticket transfer must be completed 24 hours prior to your departure time. Reschedules are not available ‘after the fact’ for parties who miss their scheduled reservation. If you’re worried plans could change consider the ticket insurance option at checkout.
For questions.. or to notify us about a reservation change please send us an email prior to your visit at info@santaslookout.com. ALL Reservations can only be changed in advance and ticket insurance does not allow for changes to be made upon arrival.
DOES THE TRAIN RUN IN THE RAIN AND SNOW?
The train does run in the rain and snow showers… if weather is not severe. If the train is operating and you fail to make it that night…. you forfeit your tickets. In the event of inclement weather or mechanical issues with the train…the ticket office will issue a rain check.
IS STROLLER PARKING AVAILABLE?
There is an area to park strollers during the train ride.
